America’s Official Douche Bag Haberdashery wants nothing to do with Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino.
The preppy, overpriced retailer is so opposed to The Situation donning the A&C logo, that they’ve proposed to pay him NOT to wear their clothes.
Well, this is just the pot calling the kettle black, if you ask me. Abercrombie & Fitch released a statement saying that their “association” with the Jersey Shore star “is contrary to the aspirational nature of our brand, and may be distressing to many of our fans.”
We are deeply concerned that Mr. Sorrentino’s association with our brand could cause significant damage to our image. We have therefore offered a substantial payment to Michael ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino and the producers of MTV’s The Jersey Shore to have the character wear an alternate brand. We have also extended this offer to other members of the cast, and are urgently waiting a response.
What makes this even more absurd is that Abercrombie & Fitch released a “Fitchuation” t-shirt last year. I hope that entire cast wears A&C clothing wherever their pathetic lives lead them. Through every drunken hospitalization… herpes outbreak doctor visit… parole hearing…
That store stinks. Think of what’s happening to their customers lungs every time they inhale that overpowering signature cologne.
